Social Networking is WORK

Oye, more things to do! Must update facebook, tweet my next tweet, blog, stumble upon this and that....link em all togher so I can be linked in, in my space, which feels like outer space. I mean it is FUN, yes, addictive SURE especially when you go mobile. But it's work folks. When you are a performer, especially in a city like NYC, this place is all about networking and now-a days that means on-line friending and e-event invitations. I remember watching this AMAZING documentary about living in NYC - Broadway: The Golden Age, by the Legends Who Were There http://www.broadwaythemovie.com/home.htm and in it they were talking about how actors and actress's would meet for coffee at a times square coffee shop and THIS is where it all happened where you met where you introduced...and now it happens on line.

what a crazy world we live in, where we have more friends online then we do at our birthday parties. where we connect with long last pals via an internet poke versus over a cup of coffee....
